How We Started:
The Ajmera family, who successfully built and operated Canada’s leading specialty bread bakery, was making millions of bagels and croissants/day when they sold the bakery in the early 1990′s. After 20 years in business, Sam Ajmera (father of Ojus and Tejus) decided it was time to retire. But for the creative/entrepreneurial types, retirement doesn’t last long and by mid 2004, the family decided to get back into the bakery business: the new bakery was called fgf brands and here started the creation of a 21st century, progressive food company.
